How to Arrange Museum-Style Fossil Wall Decor
Fossil panels and oracle shells look strongest when they are hung with clear air around them. Two or three related panels can form a loose vertical group; a single larger relief works above a low console where its texture can be appreciated.
Vary the distance between pieces instead of spacing them perfectly. A small asymmetry keeps a museum-style wall arrangement from becoming stiff. Match the scale of the wall art to the furniture below it and keep the pieces within the width of the console or shelf.
In darker rooms, light-coloured fossil reliefs can be used as quiet focal points. In bright interiors, aged darker finishes add contrast without making the wall feel heavy.
