Two forms,

The cellist is composed as a pair of vertical forms: the musician's body and the full-height cello. They overlap without merging, creating a dense centre that contrasts with the more open gestures around it.
The instrument's strings, scroll and tapered body remain legible in close view, while the high-gloss surface creates long reflections from head to base.
